The Appleton Estate is one of Jamaica’s oldest rum manufacturers since 1749. The Appleton Estate rum is labelled one of the best rums manufactured globally in the Caribbean. The Appleton Estate is nestled in the beautiful and rugged terrain on the South Coast of Jamaica. Upon arriving at the renowned Estate, you will be given a tour highlighting the rum manufacturing process. Upon completing the tour, you will be allowed to sample the wines and rums manufactured by the Appleton Estate and visit one of the Estate’s barrel houses, where the rums age for the best taste.

The boat ride along the three miles of the river up the stream is compact with the scenery of crocodiles ranging in all different sizes while learning about the ecological history of the Black River. At the end of the three miles up the river, you can hop off the boat and swim where it’s safe. 

After the boat ride at the Black River Safari, a drive for another 35 to 40 minutes will take you to YS Falls. The YS Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls on Jamaica's south coast and started in 1982. The waterfall is lush with beautiful greenery and terrain. Enjoy the amenities of the mineral pools, tubing, and a birds-eye view from a canopy tour across the river.
